Insomnia [+Speedpaint]

Haaahh you finally did about the only usefull thing you can do with CORE and made a critique drawing!! Thanks!! xD

So... this looks amazing!!
First of all, I REALLY like the general idea, because Phara usually seems kind of tough and almost a tiny bit smug at times (NOT IN A BAD WAY!!), so this different view of her really adds a lot to her character, showing that she's not always like that. Her face really looks tired, it's veeery well done!!

I'm loving the textures for the different materials here, too... for example, you can clearly see that the wood and the cloths are definitely "made" from different materials, and even the different cloth things (clothes, curtains, covers,...) don't all look the same, so that's great!

Now... when it comes to light. I really LOVE the blue nightly light falling in through the window - and in general, I also like the idea of the candle, having one spot of coloured light in this otherwise blue scene... buuut when it comes to the candle, I have one.... tiny thing that I'd maybe do differently next time?
Or... well, maybe it was actually intentional on your side, in that case, nevermind and carry on. I just find that the drawing tends to be drawing the viewer's eye to the left side of the frame, with the two characters there, the foreground being there, and Phara even turning her head to look there herself.
But then, the only spot of warm colours is suddenly in the far right corner, and it kind of disrupts all of this.. just a little bit ^^° it draws the eyes towards the right corner, even though there's not reeeally anything going on there.
But again - if this was intentional, nevermind ^^

Uuh and finally: my absolute FAVOURITE thing about this is how the background is slightly blurry??? It looks like a photo taken of this, where the focus is on her, and then the things further away get more and more blurred!! That's so cool!!

Sooo.. yeah! Overall, like I said, amazing!!
